Sigma Alpha Omega® has been a huge blessing in my life.  After searching several years and many semesters for the right organization for myself and with failed attempts, I along with some of my closest friends, decided to start a SAO chapter at USC and here we are going strong!  We have been so blessed with our chapter founding. We have not only grown closer as a group but also we have been blessed with the growth of more sisters this past semester.  I can definitely see how God has hand picked each one of our girls and with the chosen they bring not only their uniqueness but most importantly their passion for Christ to our chapter.  I sit in awe that I have been richly blessed by such wonderful sisters of whom I know will always be there for me.  I treasure our times for when we simply just hang out, enjoy and create life long friendships and beautiful memories.  I am so proud to lead such great group of girls as President for the 2008-2009 year.  I cannot wait to see what God has in store for us and I am excited to see what a presence we can make at USC! – Whitney Mullen

Sigma Alpha Omega® has truly blessed my life in so many ways that are unimaginable.  I have always desired to be a part of an organization where I could enjoy fellowship in a sisterhood made up of Christian women.  Not only is it uplifting and encouraging to be surrounded by sisters who have the same morals and values as you, but it is a crucial part of college.  When people initially hear about our sorority, they sometimes question how truly genuine we are about our mission.  Once they get to know us, they begin to understand that Sigma Alpha Omega® is about so much more than cute t-shirts, Greek letters, a gold pin, or social functions.  They learn that our sorority's primary focus is to serve Christ and bring honor and glory to His name.  We are in this sisterhood not for a brief moment in time, or a few years, but rather for a lifetime.  The bonds we form with one another and the experiences we have will change who we are and shape the person we will become.  I do not know where I would be if it were not for Sigma Alpha Omega® as this sorority has truly provided the opportunity for me to join with some of my best friends and truly become "One in Christ, Through Unity in Sisterhood."  - Amanda Sundberg
