“I would have never in my life thought I would be in a sorority, let alone the president of one. I am so grateful to have found such an amazing group of Christian women to associate myself with. I have seen how everyone in the sorority is bound by sisterhood, and strengthened by God. One of the things I love most about SAO is how any woman who believes in Christ as our Savior is welcome. It does not matter what denomination you are (currently we have everything from Methodist to Catholic to Baptist!); you are welcome to join!” - Bethany Heinen |

"SAO has been a big part of my college life. I am surrounded by wonderful women that share my same values and faith. My sisters are always there for me in my time of need and I'm there for them. I love participating in all of our events we hold, such as: Bible studies, worship nights and philanthropy events. We have fun doing everything, and the best thing of all is that I get lifelong friends that I will always call my sisters." - Vivian Arroyo

"When I first joined SAO in 2009, I was not 100% sure that I knew what I was getting into. I was against sororities and was afraid that I had made a bad choice. As the current vice-president (Christian realations), I can say that I made a great choice! Not only have I gained leadership skills, I have gained friendships that reflect the goodness of the Lord. We have endured trials and tribulations together and have grown stronger as a group and individually. By the grace of God, we will continue to shine our lights on campus and do the work of the Lord. I am so proud to wear the letters of SIGMA ALPHA OMEGA® and explain who we are and what we do. PEACE, LOVE, AND S-A-O!" - Sarah Walker
