2019 NATIONAL MENTOR APPLICATIONS - reopened for one-year terms only

One-year National Mentor Terms - We have installed two-year termed mentors beginning this year, but are still in search of willing alumnae to serve as one-year term mentors. If you are interested, please submit your application to xd@sigmaalphaomega.org no later than June 23, 2019. Check out further details within the application and send any follow-up questions to Kayla Johnson at vpmentors@sigmaalphaomega.org.

  • Time Commitment: Not more than roughly five (5) hours per week.

  • How Many Chapters Would I Mentor? This number is dependent on how many mentors we have. The more mentors, the less chapters per mentor. Right now, I would estimate roughly 3 - 4 chapters per mentor.

  • Can I Mentor My Own Chapter? Unfortunately, no. We have a policy against mentoring your own chapter. However it is just as, if not more, rewarding to mentor a chapter you are not from so you are able to build a strong relationship from scratch!

  • A Note from Kayla: If you are interested in more information, or a more detailed list of the semesterly/monthly/weekly duties of a mentor, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be happy to talk with you more in detail about specifics! Thank you in advance for your consideration of this opportunity. I hope to hear from you!

CONVENTION 2020 COMMITTEE APPLICATIONS

Convention 2020 Committee - We missed many of you at convention 2019, but, as many who attended may have let you know, instead of announcing the location for convention 2020, we announced our first ever national convention committee open to BOTH active sisters and alumnae!
